Meet the Transition Committee

The Rev. Beth Mallon, Chair

St. James, Tigard

It’s an honor and a blessing to work with this incredible group of people who dig right in, get things done, and have fun along the way!

    Bonnie Umland

    St. John the Baptist, Portland

I am excited to work diretly with the indiviual God has called (will call) to lead the diocese in the years to come.

      The Rev. Dennis j Parker

      St. David of Wales, Portland

I look forward to sharing gifts of insight and resouces of prayer, poetry, and music with the team members, nominees, and the members of the diocese.

        The Rev. Helen Durany

        St. Barnabas, McMinnville

When I read the description for the Transition team it occurred to me that it would be a good way to use my gifts to serve the diocese. Since I am fairly new to Oregon, serving also gives me the opportunity to get to know more people.

          The Rev. Raggs Ragan

          Trinity Cathedral, Portland

I am excited to be part of our exploration of where the Spirit is leading us in these ‘interesting times’.  I am particularly delighted to be able to employ my decades of liturgical experience in welcoming our new bishop to the wonderful world of Oregon.

            The Rev. Robert Morrison

            St. Alban’s, Albany

I am pleased to be able to facilitate arrangements to help diocesan delegates serve God’s leading in the election. To be part of the celebration of the entire diocese in the ordination of our new spiritual leader is exciting.

              Sonja Miller

              All Saints, Portland

This was a delightful process last time and I enjoy the excitement as we look to the future and come to a common decision.

                Susan “Sue” Colvin

                St. Thomas, Eugene

I am learning more about the diocese, it’s people, and processes. It’s exciting to feel connected!

                  Susan “Sooz” Lee Hall

                  St. Luke’s, Grants Pass

This is a great opportunity to really feel part of the diocese.

                    Susan “Susie” Silva-Strommer

St. Michael & All Angels, Portland

I am excited to introduce the bishop candidate finalists to the diocese. And I love logistics!

                      Terri Hoffman

                      St. Francis of Assisi, Wilsonville

I am happy to be working with the wonderful, well-organized people helping to find our new bishop and thank Bishop Michael.
